Expanding slots
By default every supported item is initialized with 1-2 empty gemstone sockets. Limit is 5 sockets.
To unlock another socket, use a Jewelry Table with:
Action slot: Diamond Tipped Chisel or Netherite Tipped ChiselBase slot: item to expandGem slot: Expansion Crystal
Inserting Gemstones
Gemstones are inserted in Jewelry Table with:
Action slot: Jewelry HammerBase slot: item with an empty socketGem slot: one of various Gemstones
Removing Gemstones
Gemstones are extracted in Jewelry Table with:
Action slot: Jewelry PliersBase slot: item with inserted Gemstone
Extraction always targets last filled socket. Removed gemstone has an 80% chance to break instead of being returned.
Supported items
List of allowed and not allowed items for gemstone socketing:
Allowed
- Melee weapons: sword
- Ranged weapons: bow, crossbow
- Tools: pickaxe, axe, shovel
- All armor pieces
Not allowed
Hoe, Shield, Elytra, Trident, Fishing Rod, Mace, Animal Armor and other unsupported items
